Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized expertise in Infection Prevention to join our team in Roseville, California. This vital role is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive infection control programs to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and quality care within our facility. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of quickly integrating into the team and independently managing all aspects of infection prevention.
This position requires a proactive approach to identifying risks, educating staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence‐based infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
- Conduct ongoing surveillance for healthcare‐associated infections (HAIs) and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide expert consultation, education, and training to clinical staff on infection control practices.
- Investigate potential outbreaks, implement control measures, and report findings to relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards related to infection prevention.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees focused on patient safety.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Significant, recent experience as an Infection Preventionist.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking skills.
