We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery to join a compassionate team in Folsom, California. Your role will involve delivering exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a fast‑paced maternity environment.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, laboring, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal well‑being throughout labor and delivery
• Assess and interpret fetal heart rate patterns and uterine contractions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Assist physicians and certified nurse midwives during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures
• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
• Respond quickly and effectively to obstetric emergencies
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care throughout the childbirth experience

• Active RN License in California
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience managing high‑risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies preferred
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment
