Overview
Under the direction of the school site nurse and supervision of the site administrator or designee, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will assist in the care of students with health needs and perform a variety of clerical duties related to school health programs.
The LVN will administer prescription and over-the-counter medications, provide first aid, assist students with toileting and tube feedings, complete documentation, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Administer prescription and over-the-counter medications in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Provide first aid as needed to students.
- Assist students with toileting and tube feedings as directed.
- Complete documentation related to health care and school health programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school site nurse or site administrator/designee.
