Occupational Employee Health Nurse in Roseville, California. This role involves planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating employee health services within a local health system. The position focuses on occupational health, infection prevention, workers' compensation, and staff wellness initiatives, serving as a key resource for education, communication, and support related to employee health and safety.
ScheduleDay shift, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an approved vendor
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or AHA-CPR or ARC-CPR certification
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse certification (preferred)
- Implement and maintain employee health policies and procedures
- Manage and evaluate medical surveillance programs, including diagnostic test review
- Confirm employees meet medical requirements and refer for follow-up as needed
- Provide initial evaluation and treatment for work‑related injuries and illnesses
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, supervisors, and workers' compensation carriers
- Coordinate investigations for employee exposures to communicable diseases
- Monitor injury and illness trends, presenting findings to leadership
- Oversee immunizations, tuberculosis screening, and substance testing programs
- Assist in coordinating medical restrictions and job modifications
- Review return‑to‑work documentation and maintain confidential health records
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives based on health and safety data
- Attend professional meetings and disseminate updates to staff and leadership
- Perform additional job‑related duties as assigned

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
