Cardiovascular Cath Lab/EP Registered Nurse
Seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Cath Lab/EP role to provide specialized nursing care for cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting patient care before, during, and after cardiology interventions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs throughout cardiac procedures.
- Assist physicians during catheterization, EP studies, and other interventional procedures.
- Prepare and maintain catheterization laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid CA Registered Nurse license and have at least 2 years of cath lab or EP nursing experience.
- Be BLS and ACLS certified by AHA or ARC.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures, and alertness to critical patient changes.
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Upload valid certifications and Nursys license within the last 2 weeks.
