Job Summary

The Commercial Lines Junior Account Manager plays an important role in supporting the delivery of exceptional client service and maintaining the overall efficiency of the Commercial Lines department. This position serves as a primary point of contact for service-related needs, ensures timely and accurate processing of account activities, and supports Agents and Account Managers in fostering strong, long‑term client relationships.

The Junior Account Manager contributes to the team’s success by demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills, following established departmental procedures, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in all service functions. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and open to change, growth, and continuous learning while consistently upholding Panorama’s core values.

This is a hybrid, non-exempt position out of Roseville, CA.

Duties/Responsibilities Account Management & Client Service
  • Gather data and conduct research to support the accurate preparation of required documentation.
  • Advise clients on policy coverage, changes, exclusions, limits, and insurance needs.
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, agents, carrier representatives, and internal team members.
  • Respond promptly, clearly, and courteously to inquiries regarding coverage, deductibles, premiums, billing, audits, and policy updates.
  • Represent Panorama in a professional, ethical, and service‑oriented manner across all communication channels.
  • Assist clients in resolving billing discrepancies and audit‑related questions.
  • Prepare and submit complete, accurate applications to carriers.
  • Support the creation of summaries, proposals, and marketing materials in collaboration with the Agent or Account Manager.
  • Review accounts during the renewal process, including client outreach, remarketing, and proposal development.
  • Identify potential cross‑sell or coverage enhancement opportunities.
  • Follow all binding and departmental procedures, verifying accuracy of coverages, conditions, restrictions, and limitations.
  • Provide premium quotations and financing options as appropriate.
  • Analyze, compare, and validate carrier quotes and renewal terms.
  • Ensure policy forms, endorsements, and declarations pages are correct and consistent.
  • Issue certificates of insurance, EOPs, binders, auto , and related documents with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain and update client records and policy information in the Agency Management System (EPIC), ensuring all suspense items are completed and followed through.
  • Document all service activities, communications, and policy updates clearly and consistently according to departmental standards.
  • Process policy changes and endorsements in an accurate and timely manner while meeting carrier and agency requirements.
Collaboration, Training & Professional Development
  • Maintain required licensing and participate in training programs and continuing education.
  • Stay current on underwriting guidelines, departmental procedures, industry trends, product updates, and technology enhancements.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and openness to change as workflows, systems, and business needs evolve.
  • Balance independent work with strong team collaboration and a solutions‑oriented mindset.
  • Support team initiatives, assist colleagues as needed, and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, with or without advance notice.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of insurance industry experience.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required; bachelor’s degree preferred…
