As a Security Officer Full Time Rover in Roseville, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for shoppers, guests, and staff while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor foot traffic and property conditions, assist with access‑related concerns, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual observations in accordance with site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
• Possess a guard card and/or license, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
