Calibration Service Technician
Our client, a global provider of electronic design and test solutions company, is looking for a Calibration Service Technician for their Roseville, CA location. Responsibilities include performing hardware and software troubleshooting, testing, and support activities; analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and assisting in implementing corrective actions; supporting calibration and service processes for customer units; partnering closely with service engineers, field teams, and support staff to ensure timely resolution;
contributing to continuous improvement of service delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction; sustaining service capacity and supporting customer commitments in a fast paced, high technology environment; and the calibration, adjustment, and repair of high end test and measurement equipment in a service center environment.
This role also involves performing calibration, adjustment, and repair of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment in accordance with established procedures; troubleshooting and resolving technical problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity; executing customer service assignments with clearly defined objectives; analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and supporting the development and implementation of corrective actions; supporting both internal operations and external customer requirements through effective communication and technical execution;
contributing consistently to team and service center delivery goals; adhering to established production, calibration, and repair processes; maintaining high workmanship standards; ensuring compliance with ESD controls, connector care requirements, Service Notes, and quality programs; demonstrating effective time management, multitasking, and responsible use of tools, equipment, and assigned resources; and actively supporting continuous improvement efforts that enhance service quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements include relevant education, specialized training or certification, or applicable military technical experience; four or more years of related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test and measurement equipment; strong electronic and mechanical aptitude; sound judgment in the use of time, tools, and assigned resources; high workmanship standards; effective communication with internal and external customers; strong organizational and time management skills;
ability to build and maintain professional working relationships; and adherence to the highest standards of business ethics and professional conduct.
