The Platform Engineer designs, implements, and maintains the cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform services that enable software engineering teams to develop, deploy, and operate business applications efficiently and securely. This role works within the Platform Engineering & Software Development team and partners with IT Operations, Information Security, Software Support, and business stakeholders to build reliable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, application security integrations, and operational tooling.
The Platform Engineer will also serve as a hands-on AI solutions builder. This individual will design and develop AI agents, AI-enabled workflows, and internal automation solutions that reduce manual effort, improve employee productivity, and support title and escrow operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure supporting business-critical applications.
- Build and support secure, scalable, and reliable cloud platform services.
- Configure and maintain Azure serverless components, including Azure Functions.
- Support Azure resources such as Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and API Management.
- Develop reusable infrastructure components using Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Partner with software developers to improve application architecture, deployment reliability, scalability, and operational performance.
- Participate in platform lifecycle planning, upgrades, technical evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops.
- Develop deployment automation using YAML, Power Shell, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Create reusable pipeline templates, deployment processes, and self‑service tools that improve developer productivity.
- Automate application and database deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
- Assist development teams with build, deployment, configuration, and environment‑related issues.
- Participate in release planning, deployment readiness reviews, and production support.
- Review pull requests for deployment, configuration, security, and platform‑related considerations.
- Apply working knowledge of C# and .NET when reviewing application changes and collaborating with software developers.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain AI agents and AI‑enabled workflows that support title and escrow operations.
- Work directly with operational teams to understand business processes, identify inefficiencies, and translate business needs into practical AI solutions.
- Develop AI‑based tools that assist with information retrieval, document processing, workflow coordination, quality control, decision support, and other operational activities.
- Integrate AI agents with approved applications, APIs, databases, and internal knowledge sources.
- Use orchestration, prompt design, retrieval‑augmented generation, structured outputs, and workflow automation to create dependable business solutions.
- Establish appropriate validation, monitoring, human‑review, security, and data‑handling controls for AI‑enabled processes.
