Controls Technician – 2nd Shift
$26.00 – $38.00 per hour
Full-Time | 2nd Shift

We are seeking an experienced Controls Technician to support our 2nd shift manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC‑controlled production equipment in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Maintain and repair industrial production equipment including assembly cells, conveyors, robots, and test stands

• Diagnose equipment issues using HMI and PLC systems (Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 & 5000)

• Perform PLC and robot programming and troubleshooting

• Install and wire control panels for new equipment

• Replace faulty components such as relays, switches, motors, sensors, and drives

• Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule

• Start and test machinery to verify performance

• Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures

• Initiate purchase requisitions for parts and assist with facility maintenance as needed

• Collaborate with maintenance mechanics, electricians, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues

• Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred, or equivalent hands‑on experience

• Advanced training or experience in:

  • PLC programming (Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 & 5000)

  • Robotics

  • Electrical systems

  • Hydraulics and pneumatics

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Experience writing basic reports and documentation

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

• Experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment required

• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) – Required

• Robot programming and diagnostics

• Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
