Responsibilities:
- Provide
skilled nursing care
, including but not limited to tracheostomy care, ventilator management (if applicable), catheter care, wound care, medication administration, and bowel/bladder programs. - Assist with
activities of daily living (ADLs)such as repositioning, transfers, and hygiene. - Monitor the patient’s
vital signs, symptoms, and overall well-being
, reporting any concerns to the healthcare team. - Offer
emotional support and companionship
, ensuring a positive and comfortable environment. - Collaborate with
family members, caregivers, and medical professionals
to maintain continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Licensed RN or LPN
in the state of Michigan. - Experience in
home health, private duty nursing, or long-term care
preferred. - Experience with tracheotomy and ventilator care (for pediatric positions).
- Knowledge of
paraplegia-related care
, including skin integrity, mobility assistance, and respiratory support, is a plus. - Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Strong
communication and teamwork skills

About the Role:
We have immediate needs for private duty nurses (RNs or LPNs) to provide home care to pediatric patients. Our pediatric population ranges in ages from birth to 21 years of age.
