Job Description

Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin‑Williams products, recommend solutions, resolve concerns, and ensure maximum client satisfaction while maintaining product quality and visual standards. This is a part‑time opening located at Store #1348, 20780 E 13 Mile Rd, Roseville, MI 48066, 4579.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately, consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and paperwork.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; maintain store equipment clean.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales performance.

Contact with customers may include minors and requires the handling of cash and other payment methods. A criminal history review is necessary to protect the safety of the company’s customers, staff, and the general public.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Previous experience selling paint and paint‑related products.
• Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
