The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Roseville, MI, responsible for overseeing flooring installation projects from scheduling through completion. This position manages daily job schedules, coordinates installer crews, and ensures materials, tools, and documentation are prepared for each project. The Production Manager monitors job progress, conducts site visits as needed, and resolves issues in collaboration with installers, sales staff, and customers.

The role includes updating project status in internal systems, maintaining quality and safety standards, and communicating timelines and expectations clearly with clients. This individual also helps refine processes, manage vendor relationships, and support continuous improvement in production efficiency and customer experience.

• Experience in production, construction, or installation management, preferably in flooring or a related trades environment.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and crews at once.
• Proficiency in using basic office software and project management or CRM tools to track jobs and communicate with stakeholders.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers, installers, vendors, and internal team members.
• Knowledge of job-site safety practices and quality standards, with the ability to enforce company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound judgment when handling on-site challenges and customer concerns.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites in the East Metro Detroit area.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or construction-related training is a plus.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience and a commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful work environment.
