Description:
Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a Special Education Paraprofessional in the Setting 3 Program at Roseville Area Middle School. This position will provide academic and behavioral programming support to students with special needs in a middle school setting. Specifically, this position requires the applicant to be a resource for students by providing assistance with transitions, social skills, organization, planning, and problem-solving.
Furthermore, this applicant must have a dynamic personality, ability to develop strong relationships with students and families, and possess the ability to team with colleagues.
This is a full-time position starting as soon as the position can be filled. This position works 7.0 hours per day.
Qualifications:
Special Education paraprofessionals must possess 60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits of study from an institution of higher education or an AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, OR must provide a passing score on the MN Para Pro Test or Para Educator Assessment. (To take a Parapro Test, visit The Para Pro Assessment or call ; to take the Para Educator Assessment, visit the Bright Works website - test is paid for at the employee's expense.)
Compensation:
Starting salary is $17.95 - $20.25 per hour. Special Education paraprofessionals have an opportunity to earn an additional $2.00 per hour after completing online District Special Education Training.
