Pre-K Teacher

Overview

Pre-K Teacher position at Roseville Area Schools, 0.8 FTE (approximately 30 hours per week).

• Provide literacy-rich activities and support children’s physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
• Teach on a schedule:
  Monday/Wednesday/Friday all-day class;
  Tuesday/Thursday half-day morning class.
• Conduct Early Childhood Screenings on five Saturdays during the school year (training provided).

• Experience working with groups of children in an early childhood environment; knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice; experience developing, modifying, and implementing curriculum and learning environments for young children.
• Minnesota teaching license in Preprimary, Pre-Kindergarten, and/or Early Childhood Birth-Grade 3 is required.

$34.59 - $36.77/hour (depending on qualifications), plus a district contribution to health insurance, paid sick and personal leave days.
