Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a High School Counselor at Roseville Area High School. This is a 1.0 FTE position for the school year starting August 31, 2026 (with some required hours in early August).
Qualifications- A current MN Counselor license is required.
- Commitment to work with all students through equitable counseling practices.
- Build long-term relationships with students and families
- Monitor students' progress toward graduation
- Assist all students on caseload with mental health, family andliving needs
- Assist all students on caseload with academic, personal/socialand career needs
- Attend IEP meetings for students on caseload
- Review domestic and foreign transcripts
- Participate in post-secondary planning with students
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of appropriate counseling theories and practices
- Demonstrated success working with diverse populations
- Awareness of post-secondary college and career opportunities
- Knowledge and experience working with Synergy or other student information systems
Compensation: Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085, plus a district contribution towards health and dental insurance.
