Financial Analyst

The Ash Group is hiring a Financial Analyst for our client, a major electricity and natural gas utility provider. This is a 12 month contract offering a pay rate of 45.00 per hour based on skillset.

• Compensation: $45.00 per hour.

• Duration: 12 month contract.

• Review incoming project requests for alignment with capital policy and strategic objectives.
• Analyze project deliverables and costs to determine proper classification (Cap Ex vs. OpEx).
• Ensure adherence to internal capital software policy and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline intake and classification workflows.

• 3–6 years of relevant experience (capital analysis, IT financial governance, or similar)
• 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft CoPilot and AI (bots).
• Exposure to large-scale software projects and compliance frameworks (FASB, GAAP)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required
