internally know as Professional Services Engineer 2, to join our Roseville, MN team. This client facing role will work with our customers to onboard their organization to our services, implement new technologies, and handle advanced escalations from our Service Desk. This role will involve the exercise of discretion and independent judgment on matters of great significance while performing work related to the general business operations of MSI’s clients.

• Oversee projects in terms of resourcing, quality, and delivery to maximize ROI.
• Propose, implement and support new hardware, software, and services within a variety of client environments including the facilitation of successful project implementations through internal and external teams.
• Plan, scope, coordinate, track and manage assigned projects tasks, including applying systems analysis techniques, and working with MSI’s clients end users, to maintain and improve clients’ infrastructure.
• Document and train client onboarding implementations for internal and external support teams.
• As a SME, provide insight, project reviews and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain high positive client and user satisfaction and relationships.
• Provide escalation assistance to our Service Desk team as required.
• Maintain relevant knowledge of hardware and software trends and certifications.
• Implement, participate in, and promote Quality Assurance (QA) objectives, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain project files for accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist in training, mentoring and development of staff.
• Other duties as required.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 5+ years prior experience in IT administration and/or technical support experience, or equivalent.
• 2+ years Project management experience.
• In-depth knowledge in server and network builds.
• 2+ years in design and implementation in cloud migrations.
• Proven knowledge of IT and telecommunications infrastructure, hardware, and software applications in a Microsoft Environment.
• Clean driving record, Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle.
• Travel estimated 25-50% of the year.
• This position is onsite, 5 days a week at our location; relocation is not budgeted for this role, local candidates will be given priority consideration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Computer-related industry certifications in technologies such as Microsoft Windows, Azure, Fortinet, networking, storage, and security.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• High level organizational, project management, coordination, and prioritization skills.
