Plant Operator

Plant Operator (Open) – Roseville, MN

Pay Rate: $23/hr.

As a Plant Operator, you will safely handle and fill gas products into liquid, medical, and high‑pressure cylinders in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and Airgas standard operating procedures.

• Load and unload cylinder gases, ensuring pallets are properly strapped.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse/material‑handling equipment.
• Perform cylinder analyses, aligning with government and company standards.
• Calculate gas mixtures, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Identify and coordinate cylinder and valve combinations for compatibility.
• Operate control panels with valves and pressure gauges, using a precision‑oriented approach.
• Complete all production records accurately.
• Uphold company procedures and government regulations relating to hazardous materials.
• Contribute to team success as needed.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• At least 1 year of related technical experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety programs and related regulations.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations with various units of measure.
• In lieu of specific industry experience, equivalent education and experience may be accepted.

• Prior experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications.
