Do you have shipping or packaging experience and want a role in a creative, design‑oriented environment? We are seeking a hands‑on Shipper/Tester to package, ship, and test high‑quality lighting and hardware. You'll work alongside our Shipping Lead as part of the Production team, playing a key role in the final step of production - making sure every order arrives undamaged and that each unboxing is a great experience for our customers.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail‑oriented, stays organized, takes initiative, and works well both independently and as part of a small team.

• $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience

• Shipping & Packaging (Primary): Pull orders from Production based on daily priorities and ship‑by dates. Confirm each order is complete, construct boxes, carefully package products to prevent damage, configure and wrap pallets for freight shipments, prepare packing slips, and create and apply shipping labels via Ship Station.
• Testing & Quality (Secondary): Test products as needed before shipment. Clean products; inspect finishes and parts; flag any quality issues before orders leave the building.
• Kit Assembly: Assemble installation kits and parts kits for each order, making sure all required components are included and accurate.
• Receiving & Inventory: Receive and sign for incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and restock materials. Monitor packaging supplies and commonly used parts, and communicate when items are running low.
• Workspace Upkeep: Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and ready for daily work, including sweeping, vacuuming, breaking down boxes, removing trash, and maintaining basic shipping tools and equipment.
• Flexibility: Shift between shipping, testing, receiving, inventory, and general production support based on daily priorities. Step in to support teammates when needed to help orders move through production and ship on time.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable, punctual, and communicates clearly with teammates and leads
• 1–4 years of experience in shipping/packaging (or strong transferable skills). Candidates at the higher end of our pay range typically bring multiple years of experience, fragile or made‑to‑order packaging, and familiarity with Ship Station or Shopify.
• Detail‑oriented and able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Willing to learn new tasks and shift between functions as priorities change
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• 20/20 or 20/30 corrected vision
• Able to reliably commute to work
