About the Role
As a Test Technician I at CPC, you will perform and document tests on materials and products, analyze data, and maintain the laboratory environment.
Responsibilities- Perform tests of varying complexity on new, existing, and competitive materials and products.
- Ensure testing documentation is complete and compliant with current practice.
- Communicate test results; assist with analysis of data and writing of test reports related to test procedures and results.
- Support overall laboratory maintenance and improvements, including maintenance and improvement of existing test apparatus.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the CPC lab.
- Adhere to all safety regulations.
- Demonstrate support of CPC core values.
- Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Associate degree in a related science.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a technical aptitude.
- Experience with measurement tools (multimeters, force gauges, torque wrenches).
- Experience executing tests and recording data in a lab setting.
- Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic based tests.
- Experience writing/improving work instructions.
- Strong initiative and passion for learning.
- Experience with prototype builds and test fixture design.
- Basic knowledge of CAD.
- May require less than 5% domestic travel; comfortable with occasional travel as needed.
Pay Range: $25.50 - $27.00 / Hourly (Minnesota). Compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications related to the position.
