Quality Assurance - QA/QC
Quality Control - QC Analysts/Managers, Production QC/QA
Responsibilities:
- Apply inspection techniques using a variety of hand inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, ring gages and programmable test equipment such as Optical Gaging, Coordinate Measuring Machine and Micro-view.
- Initiate non-conformances and maintain appropriate records as needed.
- Provide support for other inspection functions.
- Assist in evaluation of inspection methods/fixtures and providing improvement recommendations in conjunction with Quality Engineering/Engineering.
- Operates within CPC BOS (Quality System).
- Active participant in Continuous Improvement and Lean projects.
- Keeps current in the field with internal and external education and training.
- Assists with quality systems audits with suppliers.
- Adheres to all safety regulations.
- Demonstrates support of CPC core values.
- Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office;
Word and Excel. - Able to collect, analyze, and report data.
- Self-driven and able to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to self-prioritize, multitask and expedite in support of production needs.
- This role may require 5% travel domestically. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel as needed to support business objectives.
Skills:
- Preferred experience in a regulated work environment such as Medical Device/Bio-pharm/Automotive.
- Oracle or similar ERP software experience preferred.
- Familiar with 1809001 guidelines and GMP preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written specifications preferred.
- Previous experience with optical or coordinate measurement machines preferred.
- Previous experience in mechanical inspection or related field preferred.
