Job Overview

As a Macy’s Women’s Clothing Selling Support colleague, you’ll help customers express personal style, provide exceptional service, maintain merchandise standards, support fitting rooms and sales floor upkeep, and assist fulfillment to ensure a polished, shop‑ready environment.

• Begin each day energized, greet teammates, maintain clean and organized sales floor.
• Focus on customer by offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and engaging in friendly conversations.
• Maintain shoppable space by recovering floor and fitting rooms, updating signs, and supporting merchandise moves.
• Finish strong by sharing loyalty program benefits, ensuring customers have everything they need, and ending with a sincere thank‑you.
• Support service culture by collaborating with teammates, demonstrating honesty, care, and teamwork.
• Strive for continuous improvement; achieve sales goals and learn from each other to deliver individual and store results.

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with dependable attendance.
• Must be able to:
• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
• Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
• Meeting daily sales goal challenges.
• Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
• Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
• Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; great in team dynamics.
• Can handle electronic devices with no problem.

• Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
• Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching above eye level.
• Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
