Join the QCD Minneapolis family! Our drivers are responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of products to Fortune 500 company.

What to expect:

• Schedule:
  
  4 day work week, 5 days option when available
• Dispatch: 3:00 PM (Starbucks)
• 10-14 hour work days
• Additional workdays/ OT days are available
• Component Pay + Paid Weekly
• Brand new 48' automatic Volvo tractor-trailers (reefers)
• Delivering/ down stacking v in-store via dolly or hand truck

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Performs daily transportation functions as directed by Supervisor.
• Local and team route options are available.
• Operates diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination trucks to transport and deliver products.
• Drives truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicles in difficult situations, such as narrow passageways.
• Inspects trucks for defects before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck conditions.
• Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations and other federal and company-required records/logs.
• May be required to perform product backhaul when returning from the dispatched route.
• Unloads/loads product at the store with assistance from store personnel.
