Parts Inventory Control Associate - Dodge Jeep Ram Roseville

The Wholesale Parts Inventory Control Associate ensures proper control of parts inventory and related administrative functions. Responsibilities include receiving and recording new parts inventory, maintaining parts databases, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

• Maintain parts inventory by verifying supplies and placing orders when order‑points are reached.
• Stock items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves, and adjusting the inventory system.
• Receive returned items by inspecting them, re‑packing, and resealing, and returning damaged or unused parts to the supplier.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards, procedures, and codes.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities such as learning about new products.
• Assist the Parts Manager in processing weekly stock orders and placing daily parts orders.
• Ensure credits are received for returned parts, and remove returned parts from inventory after credits are received.
• Provide necessary information to the Warranty Department to enable prompt filing of parts warranties.
• Match purchase orders and invoices, approve them, and forward to the accounting office.
• File company copies of parts counter invoices.
• Assist in preparing for annual parts inventory.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• One year of experience in a dealership position (preferred).
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
• Ability to use the parts department computer system and calculator.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Pay: $17 per hour.
