The Secretary will be a part of the Electrophysiology Lab.
Position SummaryThe Administrative Secretary provides front office and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors by greeting them in a courteous, professional manner.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly and respond to inquiries efficiently.
- Assist patients with appointment scheduling, forms, and general administrative needs.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties including data entry, filing, document preparation, and office support projects.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
- Support the healthcare team with additional administrative tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic office equipment and computer applications.
USD $20.90 - USD $31.35 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
