To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Auto Electrician (this is essential).

Please note you will be required to travel to our Head Office to carry out work and/or collect parts - this is based in Haslingden BB4. You will be driving our company vans.

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and self-motivated Mobile Auto Electrician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicle electrical systems across a range of vehicles at customer locations. The successful candidate will be confident working independently in the field and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles, including wiring, lighting, starters, alternators, sensors, and electronic control systems.
• Install, maintain, and fault-find vehicle electrical systems and aftermarket accessories.
• Carry out electrical system testing using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and vehicle schematics.
• Provide efficient, professional service at customer premises or designated work sites.
• Accurately complete job records and documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining faults, repairs, and recommendations where required.

• Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as an Auto Electrician (essential).
• Relevant qualifications, certifications, or technical training in automotive electrical systems.
• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent fault-finding skills with strong attention to detail.
• Flexible and comfortable working in varied environments.

• Experience using diagnostic tools such as OBD scanners.
• Good knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems and emerging automotive technologies.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• This is a mobile role involving travel to multiple locations. The position may require outdoor work, manual dexterity, and adaptability to different working environments.
