Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to oversee a diverse client portfolio while delivering high-quality tax compliance, planning, and advisory services. This role is ideal for a client-focused CPA who enjoys building lasting relationships, mentoring professionals, and contributing to the long-term growth of a successful public accounting practice. Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of individual, corporate, partnership, and business tax clients.
Review and prepare complex federal and state tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.
Deliver proactive tax planning strategies that help clients minimize tax exposure and achieve financial objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor by building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service.
Lead, mentor, and develop junior accounting professionals while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure compliance with current tax laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
Active CPA license required.
Minimum of five years of public accounting tax experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
Experience reviewing complex tax returns and providing strategic tax planning.
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client service skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to grow into a future leadership or partner-level role.
