Earthly Dynamics Corporation (EDC) is a fast-growing aerospace R&D company in Roswell, Georgia, developing next-generation autonomous control technologies for unmanned aircraft and guided-airdrop systems. We are a small, professional, and highly technical organization looking for a dependable person to help keep our office organized and running smoothly.
Position SummaryEDC is seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Office Coordinator to provide consistent daily administrative and front-office support at our Roswell facility. This position is well suited for someone who takes pride in keeping an office organized, follows established procedures carefully, communicates professionally, and can be counted on to complete routine responsibilities accurately and on time. This role requires a consistent, full-time, on-site presence.
As the employee gains experience and demonstrates strong judgment, initiative, and follow-through, the position may grow to include broader administrative and operational responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for EDC.
- Greet and check in visitors, clients, candidates, contractors, and vendors.
- Answer the EDC phone line, monitor general company email accounts, and promptly direct messages to the appropriate team member.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and assist team members with routine shipping needs.
- Schedule internal and external meetings and coordinate candidate interviews.
- Maintain company calendars and meeting-room schedules.
- Order and organize office supplies, break-room items, and snacks.
- Coordinate routine company lunches, including Friday team lunches.
- Assist with preparing workstations, supplies, and basic materials for new employees.
- Communicate with building vendors and contractors regarding scheduling and access.
- Assist with routine order fulfillment and shipping as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to employees and company leadership.
- Assist with company events, office projects, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- One or more years of experience in office administration, reception, customer service, administrative support, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated dependability and ability to maintain consistent on-site attendance.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage several routine responsibilities and deadlines without losing track of details.
- Ability to follow established procedures and ask appropriate questions when clarification is needed.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, shared calendars, and general office technology.
- Comfortable working in a professional environment with engineers, technical employees, vendors, customers, and company leadership.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident/Green Card holder, as required for work involving ITAR-controlled information.
- Previous experience supporting a small office or business.
- Experience with scheduling, shipping, purchasing, or employee onboarding.
- Experience working in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, government-contracting, or similarly detail-oriented workplace.
