Roofing Project Estimator

The Roofing Project Estimator prepares accurate cost estimates and competitive proposals for commercial and multifamily roofing projects. This role reviews project plans, performs quantity take-offs, collaborates with project teams and vendors, and ensures bids are accurate, profitable, and submitted on time.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates and competitive bids for commercial and multifamily roofing projects.
• Perform material take-offs and labor cost analysis.
• Prepare project budgets, proposals, and bid packages.
• Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions.
• Maintain accurate estimating records, pricing databases, and bid documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience estimating commercial and/or multifamily roofing projects.
• Experience performing quantity take-offs and preparing project estimates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of roofing codes, OSHA safety standards, and construction regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Experience with project management software such as Procore or similar construction management platforms.
