  • Identify project risks and evaluate their potential cost impact.
  • Source and analyse subcontractor and supplier pricing.
  • Prepare bid instructions, bid forms, and solicitation documentation.
  • Lead quantity take-offs and pricing for internal budgets.
  • Develop conceptual estimates from limited or early-stage project information.
  • Review general conditions, project schedules, scopes of work, and site logistics with Operations.
  • Manage documentation flow and coordinate specialty contractor bid scoping.
  • Assess constructability and identify potential project challenges.
  • Monitor market trends relating to labour, materials, and construction costs.
  • Evaluate alternative methods to deliver cost-effective solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, client meetings, and community engagements.
  • Support Job Kick-off Meetings, work plan development, project reviews, and site visits.
  • Price and evaluate project change impacts as required.

Skills/Must Have:

  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (HS diploma/GED required)
  • 10+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction required

Salary:
