Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 + Per Diem + Company Truck
We are currently seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join a well-established General Contractor based in Georgia. The company specializes in ground-up restaurant, retail, and gas station construction
, and is looking for a Superintendent who can take ownership of projects from mobilization through completion.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Superintendent who enjoys traveling and wants to work with a contractor that has a strong pipeline of ground-up projects.
The RoleAs a Traveling Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of ground-up commercial construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Manage ground-up construction projects from site mobilization through final completion
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and onsite trades
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
- Conduct daily site meetings and coordinate site activities
- Monitor quality control and ensure work meets plans and specifications
- Maintain a safe and organized jobsite
- Coordinate inspections, deliveries and material requirements
- Work closely with Project Managers, clients, architects and subcontractors
- Manage punch lists, closeout and final turnover
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly and efficiently
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
- Restaurant, retail and/or gas station construction experience highly preferred
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades
- Strong understanding of construction plans, schedules and specifications
- Comfortable traveling for extended periods
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to independently run a project from start to finish
- Company truck
