Description
The Department of Chemistry, Physics & Engineering is looking for two students to work up to 10-13 hours per week. This position offers a variety of responsibilities that will help a student build a career portfolio and prepare for a full‑time position after graduation.
Responsibilities- Assist students and professors with 3D printing, including operating FDM and SLA (resin) printers.
- Create demonstrations for outreach events.
- Teach students the basics of slicing software.
- Maintain a clean work environment and manage materials such as filament, resin, paper towels, and isopropyl alcohol.
- Replace or reorder materials as needed.
- Perform basic carpentry tasks and equipment maintenance.
- Engineering major (required).
- Good communication skills.
- Prior knowledge of FDM and SLA printers.
- Experience with basic carpentry and equipment handling.
Salary: $20 per hour, up to 13 hours per week.
