Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Will be discussed during the interview.
Certification Requirement: Valid Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) certificate in the state of Georgia

Soliant Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join our team in Evans, Georgia. This full-time position is available for the 2024/2025 school year, starting on July 29, 2024, and ending on May 23, 2025. As a DHH teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the education and lives of students with hearing impairments.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with hearing impairments.
- Provide direct instruction to students in areas such as language development, literacy, and munication skills.
- Collaborate with other educators, speech therapists, and support staff to ensure the academic success and social-emotional well-being of students.
- Utilize specialized teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and acmodations to meet the diverse needs of students with hearing impairments.
- Conduct assessments, track student progress, and municate with parents and caregivers about student performance and goals.
- Valid Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) certificate in the state of Georgia.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
