High School English Teacher (Part-Time) Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION

Under direction of the school’s principal, plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for students. Provides an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of individuals to ensure achievement and performance for every child.

Educational Level: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required.

Certification/License

Required:

Clear Renewable certificate and/or Clearance certificate, Level 4 or higher; or comparable certificate from out-of-state which must meet GA Professional Standards Commission requirements

• Administers and improves the total school curriculum in compliance with all procedures, standards, and regulations.
• Organizes and coordinates programs, tasks, and materials to enhance student learning
• Appropriately organizes and supervises all curricular and extracurricular activities of the students
• Implements student support team functions according to guidelines.
