Summary Of Position

The Integrated Energy Analytics Specialist is responsible for driving initiatives focused on reducing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, improving energy efficiency, process water conservation, and manufacturing waste elimination, while achieving cost savings within the organization. This role leverages advanced data analytics, a thorough knowledge of K-C manufacturing processes, and expertise in energy and process data acquisition and control systems to identify and execute impactful projects.

These efforts are aimed at elevating environmental and sustainability performance, supporting progress toward the organization’s near-term 2030 sustainability targets. This role will report directly to the Director, Environment & Energy Technologies and will include global responsibilities.

In This Role, You Will
  • Piloting and deployment of AI applications for energy efficiency. Lead pilots of artificial intelligence (AI) applications that target improvements in energy efficiency and reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions; develop and support a pipeline for near-term deployment of successful applications across additional manufacturing sites.
  • Energy and climate reporting support. Track leading and lagging KPIs for relevant programs, implement processes and controls, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data management and reporting.
  • Cross-functional collaboration – projects and EBPs. Work with Segment and Plant Engineering, as well as Operations teams, to generate ideas and execute projects on energy best practices, delivering sustainability benefits and measurable financial gains.
  • Fostering a sustainability culture. Promote and reinforce a culture of environmental stewardship and active participation in sustainability initiatives.
  • Staying current with industry best practices. Stay informed about advancements in data analytics, operational controls, and innovative solutions that drive energy efficiency and emissions reduction.
  • Identifying challenges and recommending improvements. Provide insights on obstacles and help leaders explore advanced sustainability solutions and ongoing improvement opportunities.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and operation processes, control systems, and data acquisition systems.
  • Data analytics skills including OSI PI, PI Vision, Seeq, Python, Power

    BI, and other plant data systems.
