Estimator- Water​/Wastewater

We are seeking an Estimator with experience in water and wastewater construction to support the pursuit and pricing of municipal and industrial infrastructure projects throughout the Houston area.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for water and wastewater construction projects, including self‑perform and subcontracted work.
• Review plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and contract documents to determine scope and pricing strategy.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for civil, mechanical, and structural components.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Develop bid summaries, clarifications, and value engineering ideas.
• Coordinate with operations, project management, and business development during the bid process.
• Support post‑bid reviews, handoff meetings, and cost history tracking.

• 3+ years of estimating experience on water and wastewater or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, or utility infrastructure preferred.
• Strong understanding of civil construction means, methods, and materials.
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools (e.g., Heavy Bid, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

• Municipal work for Texas public entities.
• Design‑bid‑build and CMAR delivery methods.
• Self‑perform civil or utility construction background.
