Water Resources Project Engineer

A national civil engineering firm is looking to grow its Houston team with the addition of a Water Resources Project Engineer who brings strong experience with Info Works modelling. The team is known for its technical strength and is involved in a range of complex urban drainage and flood mitigation projects across the region. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys detailed modelling work but also wants to be part of the broader project delivery process.

You will be involved in both the technical analysis and the application of that work into real world design and planning decisions.

• Building, calibrating, and running one dimensional and two dimensional Info Works ICM models
• Supporting flood studies, drainage analysis, and master planning efforts
• Interpreting results and contributing to design recommendations
• Assisting with reports and overall project coordination
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams

• 4 to 8 plus years in water resources or drainage engineering
• Strong hands on Info Works ICM experience
• Familiarity with Houston area design criteria is beneficial
• PE license required
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Technically focused team with an emphasis on modelling quality
• Work on large scale and complex drainage challenges
• Clear progression into senior technical or project roles
