Job DescriptionPRISMECS is a global provider of power generation and industrial services, delivering turnkey energy solutions, turbine mobilization, and field operations support to clients across the US and internationally.
We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong electrical background to lead power generation projects out of our Houston headquarters. This is a critical, immediate-need role. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on electrical engineering or field electrical experience with proven project management leadership on power generation, EPC, or heavy industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end execution of power generation projects, from mobilization through commissioning and handover
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and client deliverables
- Oversee electrical scopes including MV/HV systems, switch gear, generator interconnection, and balance of plant
- Coordinate multi‑disciplinary field teams (electrical, mechanical, controls) and subcontractors
- Interface directly with clients, OEMs, and site leadership on technical and commercial matters
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, QA/QC requirements, and applicable codes (NEC, IEEE)
- Report project status, risks, and forecasts to executive leadership
- 7+ years of project management experience in power generation, energy, EPC, or heavy industrial environments
- Electrical engineering degree OR equivalent field electrical experience (MV/HV systems, generation, distribution)
- Proven track record managing gas turbine, genset, or power plant projects (mobilization, installation, commissioning)
- Based in the Houston, TX area — this is a local role
- Strong client‑facing communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
- PMP certification
- Experience with GE aeroderivative turbines (TM2500, LM2500) or similar mobile power units
- Prior experience in fast‑track or emergency power deployment projects
- Familiarity with international project logistics and contractor coordination
