They are seeking an experienced Controller to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing international company. The Controller will lead all accounting operations and ensure the integrity of the company’s financial reporting. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting function, overseeing the monthly close process, and providing timely, accurate financial insights to support business decisions.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who can operate both strategically and tactically in a growing, mid-sized organization.
- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Manage and improve the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small accounting team of one senior staff member
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
- Drive accountability and continuous improvement within the finance function
- Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting
- Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis
- Partner with leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital management
- Optimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and scalability
- Support operational initiatives with financial analysis and insights
- Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Maintain documentation and readiness for audits and reviews
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- CPA strongly preferred
- 7–12+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience in a mid-sized company
- Strong knowledge ofAP and financial reporting
- Experience managing a team
- Strong leadership and team development skills
