PAY RANGE
The Target Pay Range for this position is $-$ annually. The full Pay Range is $91,000.00 - $ annually. Compensation decisions are based on job‑related skills, experience, education or training. Salary is supplemented with performance‑based incentives that vary by role.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, , AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, you are requested to work onsite on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those outside the commute distance or in approved remote locations, the role will be remote.

You will help BECU make strategic financial decisions that support innovation, operational excellence, and member experiences. As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Technology organization, you provide financial insights, forecasting, and business case recommendations that shape enterprise priorities and influence technology investments, process improvements, and long‑term strategic planning.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Strategic Financial Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to Technology and enterprise leaders, providing forecast support, financial insights, and strategic recommendations to drive business and investment decisions.
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead annual planning cycles, periodic forecasts, and long‑range modeling, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Business Case Development: Create ROI analyses, NPV models, and executive‑level recommendations supporting strategic initiatives and technology investments.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly expense, project, and FTE variance reporting with actionable insights.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with teams across DABD, MDX, CMBS, Vendor Management, Enterprise Execution, Portfolio Governance, and Strategy Program Management. - Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline operations and support automation initiatives.
- Financial Modeling Expertise: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for strategic decision‑making and forecasting.
- Systems & Technical Expertise: Utilize One Stream, Quickview, Hyperion, Smart View, and advanced Excel techniques for planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Executive Communication: Present financial insights, recommendations, and analysis to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Leadership & Ownership: Demonstrate curiosity, accountability, and action bias while balancing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Visibility into enterprise‑level financial and technology strategy

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years of functional experience in a financial institution, supporting technology organizations or enterprise strategic initiatives, and building business cases for ROI and NPV; proficiency with One Stream, Quickview, and advanced Excel modeling
- Experience in presentation, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and relationship building
- Advanced degree preferred
- CPA/CMA preferred
