Business Officer

The Business Officer will be responsible for monitoring, overseeing, and analyzing budget and performing cash management duties for two departments.

• Preparing and analyzing monthly reports, presenting key findings, trends, and recommendations to management
• Monitoring, tracking, and managing budget allocations and balances
• Overseeing expenditures
• Overseeing and monitoring funding and compliance
• Performing site visits to ensure compliance with departmental SOPs
• Conducting budgeting trainings
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Performing cash journals, journal entries, and budget transfers
• Researching discrepancies

• Training internal customers

The grade for this position is C41(1). Salary will be based on the promotional policy.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a closely related field
• Two years of professional level accounting experience
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
