Financial Analyst
The Business Development Analyst supports the company’s growth strategy by analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and providing data-driven insights to senior leaders. This role is best suited for candidates with prior investment banking, private equity, or similarly rigorous analytical training who are looking to apply that toolkit in an operational, real-asset environment.
How You’ll Power the Future- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, new markets, and emerging trends.
- Build and pressure-test financial and operational analyses used to support real investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models, ROI analyses, and scenario planning tools.
- Play a hands‑on role in deal evaluation, partnerships, and M&A, including building models, conducting diligence, and forming investment views.
- Prepare executive‑level reports and presentations summarizing insights and recommendations.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development initiatives.
- Operate with a high degree of ownership in ambiguous situations, often working with incomplete information and tight timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, business development, strategy, consulting, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, modeling) and AI tools.
- Experience creating presentations and summaries for senior leadership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or a similarly rigorous, transaction‑oriented environment strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting M&A, partnerships, or principal investment decisions, including diligence and structuring.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced, high‑performance environments with competing priorities.
