Overview
Deliver analytical research and data‑driven insights to support commercial banking client and prospect needs in partnership with banking and product teams.
Responsibilities- Develop economic and market insights, industry analysis, pitchbooks, and relationship reviews that inform strategy.
- Support preparation of client presentations and client deals.
- Observe and support credit approval and treasury solutions processes to build knowledge of products, services, and packaging requirements.
- Coordinate clients/prospects and partners from product and deal teams throughout the course of a transaction.
- Deliver new business analytics, monitor client activities, and perform portfolio optimization to identify and expand client relationships while maintaining and enhancing business opportunities.
- Understand and interpret financial and cash‑flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
- Facilitate client relationships with product specialists in credit, treasury management, and merchant services to design and deliver financial solutions.
- Minimum of two years of professional or business experience.
- Analytical thinking and financial modeling skills.
- Strong critical thinking and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding and interpreting corporate financial statements.
- Previous internship or entry‑level role in financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
