Ocean Mazda Roswell is seeking an experienced, high-performing Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our leadership team.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished automotive finance professional who understands how to maximize profitability while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, transparency, customer service, and integrity.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of strong F&I production, lender relationships, product penetration, deal structure, contract accuracy, and customer satisfaction within a franchised automotive dealership.
This is not an entry-level F&I opportunity
. We are looking for an experienced professional who can step into the position and make an immediate contribution to the dealership.
Manage the finance and insurance process for new and pre-owned vehicle transactions.
Meet with customers following the vehicle selection and sales process to finalize financing and protection options.
Secure competitive financing and leasing options through available lenders.
Present financing options and F&I products professionally, transparently, and consistently.
Present vehicle service contracts, GAP protection, maintenance programs, appearance protection, and other approved products.
Maximize F&I profitability while maintaining a customer-focused and compliant sales process.
Structure deals appropriately based on customer qualifications, lender programs, dealership objectives, and applicable requirements.
Submit credit applications to appropriate lenders and manage lender decisions.
Work with lenders to obtain approvals and resolve stipulations or funding requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with banks, captive finance companies, credit unions, and other approved lending partners.
Understand lender programs, guidelines, advance requirements, rate structures, and approval criteria.
Review deal structure with Sales Management when necessary to identify financing solutions.
Ensure all required documentation is accurate, complete, properly executed, and compliant before delivery.
Review contracts, disclosures, finance agreements, lease documents, and supporting paperwork for accuracy.
Ensure customer signatures and required documentation are obtained before completing the transaction.
Maintain accurate deal jackets and electronic records.
Work closely with Accounting to ensure deals are complete and can be processed and funded without unnecessary delays.
Monitor contracts in transit and promptly resolve funding issues.
Follow up on lender stipulations, missing documents, and funding delays.
Assist with resolving contract errors, rewrites, and other finance-related issues.
Maintain accurate reporting of F&I production and performance.
Participate in dealership sales meetings, management meetings, training, and manufacturer programs as required.
Maintain professional communication with customers, Sales Consultants, Sales Managers, Accounting, and dealership leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned by dealership management.
The F&I Manager is expected to consistently manage and improve key performance indicators, including:
Finance gross profit
F&I gross profit per retail unit
Product penetration
Vehicle service contract penetration
GAP penetration
Maintenance and protection product penetration
Finance penetration
Lender utilization
Contracts in transit
Funding turnaround
Chargebacks
Product cancellations
Deal accuracy
Customer satisfaction
