• Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for Residents.
• Monitors inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment needed for laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Communicates chemical, supply and equipment need to the Housekeeping Lead.
• Maintains required records; uses Maintenance Request Log appropriately.
• Familiarizes self with cleaning schedules of Residents’ apartments and common areas to assure completion of housekeeping tasks.
• Performs housekeeping, janitorial tasks and minor repairs as assigned.
• Assures that other janitorial and repair requests are properly logged and monitors their completion.
• Provides laundry services as needed and/or directed.
• Demonst rates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Observes problems, concerns and issues observed with Resident units, the community and the grounds and communicates them appropriately.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Observes other problems and communicates them appropriately.
• Observes all work, safety, and administrative rules.
• Adheres to all established policies and procedures.
• Records Resident information as required.
• Avoids loss, breakage and waste of supplies and equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergencies.
• Associate should perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• A minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in hospitality, hotels, or senior living (preferred).
• Must be able to climb, bend, lift, stoop, kneel, crawl, push, reach and carry, stand for extended periods of time and may be required to move furniture.
