* Summary:

** Roswell Park is seeking a full‑time Lymphedema Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to join our Physical Therapy Department.
The Physical Therapist designs and implements treatment programs to maximize functional independence; evaluates the efficacy of the programs; evaluates and treats patients with cancer-related disabilities; provides instruction to patients and caretakers in preparation for therapy and discharge; documents interventions and communications with health professionals; participates in educational programs; supervises physical therapy clinical interns and physical therapy assistants as needed.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $35.41, with an additional geographical differential of $3.36, for a total of $38.77 per hour. The listed rate represents the anticipated compensation range for this role. Actual salary offers may vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
The Occupational Therapist develops and implements patient care plans to facilitate development and rehabilitation of persons with oncology-related disabilities; ensures program initiatives are keeping with the standards of practice of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the New York Education Department, organization and department policies and the standards of The Joint Commission (TJC).
The starting base hourly rate for this position is $32.10, with an additional geographical differential of $3.36 per hour, for a total of $35.46 per hour. Education and Experience for Physical Therapist    License Requirement    License to practice as a physical therapist in the State of New York.

Education and Experience  1. Doctorate degree from an approved physical therapy program; or  2. Master’s degree from an approved physical therapy program and the equivalent of one (1) year of full time experience in physical therapy or a related field; or  3. Bachelor’s degree from an approved physical therapy program and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in physical therapy or a related field.

NOTE:

Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.

Education and Experience for Occupational Therapist    License Requirement    License to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of New York.

Education and Experience  1. Master’s degree from an approved occupational therapy program; or  2. Bachelor’s degree from an approved occupational therapy program and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in occupational therapy or a related field.
