Optometric Vision Therapist Position (Training Provided)

Roswell Eye Clinic is a well‑established optometric practice that has been offering vision therapy services to patients of all ages since 1979.

We specialize in correcting visual dysfunctions for adults, brain injury patients, children of all ages and those with special needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and/or adults in a clinical setting. Previous experience in child development, vision therapy, psychology, behavioral sciences, teaching, occupational therapy, and/or physical therapy is especially applicable.

• Greeting and working with therapy patients one‑on‑one
• Scheduling therapy appointments and evaluations
• Documenting in EHR
• Programming and assessing proper level of activities for patients
• Cleaning/sanitizing therapy tools and room
• Explaining therapy process, fees, and insurance coverage
• Responding to inquiries about vision therapy by phone or email
• Supply inventory and assist in supply orders
• Explain/Follow‑up on home activities clearly to patient and/or parent(s)
• Report on therapeutic goals/progress to doctors
