The QA Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through effective testing strategies and methodologies. This position requires a strong understanding of quality assurance processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead a team of QA professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing test plans, managing testing activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support in testing methodologies and best practices.
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues identified during testing.
- Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct regular reviews of testing processes and methodologies to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with quality standards.
- Prepare and present detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting testing progress and quality status.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in QA practices and tools.
- Proven expertise in quality assurance processes and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of software testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with Agile and Dev Ops methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Load Runner.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
Salary range: $63,000 to $134,500
