Performs assessment of present levels of cyber security, defines acceptable levels of risk, trains all personnel in proper cyber hygiene and establishes formal maintenance procedures; performs privacy impact assessments; provides data security (e.g., PII, PHI, SSI, PCI) monitoring, and migration strategies; assists in the development, implementation and compliance of security plans and policies; supports data specific environments and services; supports the incident detection and response process, performing application, software systems, networks and data center vulnerability assessments;
provides remediation activities; monitors network data and ensures hardware and software applications are updated.
Education: Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience in cybersecurity of 2 or more years.
CertificationsCertifications: Security+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), CISSP, SSCP
